Back to work! Today was spent at the Habitat yard. Cleaning up our quick exit from Freda's house and then splitting up for our tasks at the yard. The gals spent a great part of the day painting racking for shelves in the Habitat store followed by some time raking the patio area in preparation for laying paving stones. The guys began demolition in the Lollipop house. The Lollipop house was a childcare center donated to Habitat for a family with 8 childen. The house just awaits the right piece of property and some updating to get it ready for the family. Once demolition was done they started erecting walls and closets. The day went by fast. The hosts all arrived at the yard about 5:00 pm to pick up each group to take them for their homestays. I imagine each group is getting the royal treatment much as Bill, Char and Paula have received staying with Lorraine and John - a wonderful lamb dinner and great conversation.
